ABOUT ODETTE
When he was little, his grandmother Odette, an outstanding pastry chef, made unique cream puffs (a.k.a choux a la creme) in her tiny kitchen for her afternoon tea and her social gatherings with family members every Wednesday.
Her Grandson, never forgot the exquisite taste of the cream puffs, which gave him the drive & passion to open that his first shop in Paris in January 2013.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
From the Internet to the furnaces of Odette, there is a chasm ... Frédéric Berthy decided to cross it at 38 years old. After working for fifteen years on the Web for Microsoft, AOL or LittleBigWeb, he opened in January 2013 a shop entirely dedicated for cream puffs.
Frédéric Berthy dreamed of creating a unique "trendy" dessert. (The macaroons were not his cup of tea). Bet raised with the cases of 6 or 12 cream puffs. This autodidact is surrounded by pastry chefs with whom he worked the recipes to find the famous taste of yesteryear.

A true blend of vintage tastes and fragrances from everywhere. Vanilla or chocolate, pistachio or coffee, passion fruit or caramel, lemon, berries or praline. Their size makes it an ideal dish for all small appetites, with coffee, tea or to finish your dinner.
We can taste many without feeling guilty!
The icing on the choux of Odette covers them with a small colored and decorated hat which distinguishes them from the choux of the assembled pieces. Presented in decorative packaging for 6 or 12 pieces, the cream puffs of Odette are a chic gift and shock: fun, less traditional than a bouquet of flowers, cheaper than a spa, and that can impress your mother-in-law!

The address "Odette Paris" is unique:
the 77 rue Galande, opposite the Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre church, one of the oldest in Paris, and the square René Viviani-Montebello which houses the eldest tree in Paris. A cabbage counter is located on the ground floor of a small 17th-century building in the heart of the 5th arrondissement of the capital.
Nestled on the first floor, the minimalist and retro tea room offers a breathtaking view of Notre-Dame de Paris, to admire tasting the cabbages accompanied by a real hot chocolate, a varied offer of teas and coffees or why not a glass of champagne?
Marble checkerboard floor, marquetry walls and Art Deco design: Odette Paris revives the universe of the Roaring Twenties. The vintage music released in the shop completes making us travel in time.
